Breaking Down Silos
Silos are created in any organization, large or small, and are detrimental to organizational success. Some of the damage that is done by silos includes: (a) destroying trust, (b) cutting off communication, (c) and fostering complacency. How might you recognize when silos are forming in your organization? Through independent research, text reading, and personal experience, provide an examination of this phenomenon. Your task in this paper is to address how an organization might identify boundaries that are forming, and what can be done to effectively mitigate the existence and impact of silos. Write a 1000-1200-word paper that utilizes at least three outside scholarly resources in your paper.
